2make a centre parting, working from the forehead towards the crown, continuing down to the nape of the neck then taking diagonal partings from the centre out to the bottom of the earSummary sheet
3cut the guideline, taking only the desired amount off the hair, starting at the crown at a 90 degree angleSummary sheet
4continue to bring down small sections of hair and cut to the guideline, working above the ear, checking that the length of each side is equalSummary sheet
5continue bringing down layers and cutting to the guideline, until all layers have been cutSummary sheet
6use a hairdryer to finish the hair to a suitable styleSummary sheet
