In successfully completing this unit, the Learner will have		Evidence needed
demonstrated the ability to
1	with support, engage with ghost story extracts in different formats, eg Casper the Friendly Ghost, Dracula, Frankenstein, Coco	Summary sheet
2	recognise at least two characters from the stories and choose appropriate dress up clothes to role play as them	Summary sheet and/or photograph(s)
3	develop a setting of a story through construction of a diorama	Photograph(s)
4	make meaningful marks related to the story, eg gravestone writing, wanted posters, witch recipes	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
5	read and follow recipes for gothic themed foods, with support	Summary sheet
6	respond to the front cover of a book or questions, eg 'Can you find a witch?' by finding associated pictures in a story	Summary sheet
7	discriminate between given images and symbols to identify at least two Gothic-themed items.	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
