In successfully completing this unit, the Learner will have		Evidence needed
demonstrated the ability to
1	choose two African mask designs and apply appropriate colours to them in a sketch book	Student completed work and/or photograph(s)
2	choose one final design and add colours to it, based on African mask research	Summary sheet
3	use clay to create a base for the mask	Summary sheet
4	use clay to add at least two features to the mask, securing the clay	Summary sheet
5	decorate the mask using paint	Summary sheet
6	varnish the mask to complete it.	Student completed work and/or photograph(s)
