In successfully completing this unit, the Learner will have		Evidence needed
shown knowledge of
1	the key products needed to set up a nail salon	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
demonstrated the ability to
2	research the price of at least three nail salon products	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
3	work out the cost of nail salon products required in at least two different scenarios or case studies	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
4	use a salon price list to suggest different treatments for a minimum of two client case studies	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
5	design at least one nail swatch to showcase their nail designs to clients	Student completed work and/or photograph(s)
6	for a minimum of two nail designs, write brief descriptions suitable for inclusion in a salon nail design catalogue.	Student completed work
