In successfully completing this unit, the Learner will have		Evidence needed
shown knowledge of
1	the physiological and evolutionary bases for the fight or flight response and where this is located in the brain and body	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
2	the four aspects of survival mode, ie fight, flight, freeze, submit	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
3	three mindful activities that can calm the limbic system	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
4	the fact that going into survival mode is not a choice	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
5	at least five activities suitable for calming a child in survival mode.	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
