In successfully completing this unit, the Learner will have		Evidence needed
demonstrated the ability to
1	check the set of axes are free from damage	Summary sheet
2	remove any burs from the axes using a file	Summary sheet
3	ensure that people throwing the axes are wearing suitable footwear	Summary sheet
4	ensure the range area is free from major hazards	Summary sheet
5	ensure the range is clearly marked out and that there is a distance of four metres between the target and the throwing line	Summary sheet
6	ensure the targets are secured to the stands	Summary sheet
7	hit at least three targets	Summary sheet
8	retrieve the axes following given safety guidelines	Summary sheet
