1 | select an appropriate item of clothing or fabric to be tie-dyed | Summary sheet |
2 | prepare the fabric for an intended tie dye pattern, eg shibori, folded, spiral, stripes, bullseye | Summary sheet |
3 | attach elastic bands or string to the selected item | Summary sheet |
4 | choose the colours of dye to be used and apply them to the chosen item | Summary sheet |
5 | cover the dyed item in cling film and leave it overnight to set | Summary sheet |
6 | remove the item from the cling film and rinse it in cold water | Summary sheet |
7 | remove the elastic bands or string once the fabric is dry | Summary sheet |
8 | instruct someone else how to tie dye an item, using visual support as necessary. | Summary sheet |
