In successfully completing this unit, the Learner will have		Evidence needed
demonstrated the ability to
1	identify at least two uses of 3D printing	Summary sheet
2	use at least three functions, eg scaling, aligning or grouping, of a 3D modelling programme, eg Tinkercad	Summary sheet
3	design a simple keyring using a 3D modelling programme	Summary sheet and/or photograph(s)
4	research at least three different motorised model cars, including finding out how they are propelled	Summary sheet
5	design the model of a motorised wind propellor car on paper, including sketches of the plan and elevations with measurements	Student completed work
6	use their plans to design the body of their model in a 3D modelling programme	Summary sheet and/or photograph(s)
7	assemble their model using the 3D printed body and other mechanical parts	Summary sheet and/or photograph(s)
8	test their model on a flat surface	Summary sheet
shown knowledge of
9	at least one improvement that could be made to their model.	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
