In successfully completing this unit, the Learner will have		Evidence needed
demonstrated the ability to
1	clear open areas of litter using the correct equipment, eg litter picker, shovel and broom and bin bags	Summary sheet
2	sweep all walkways and all footpaths in the allocated areas	Summary sheet
3	sweep kerb edgings of roads in the allocated areas	Summary sheet
4	dispose correctly of any rubbish collected	Summary sheet
5	clean the equipment on completion of the task	Summary sheet
6	carry out all of the above with strict adherence to health and safety guidelines, eg relating to personal protective equipment, manual handling and control of substances hazardous to health (COSHH).	Summary sheet
