In successfully completing this unit, the Learner will have		Evidence needed
demonstrated the ability to
1	solve at least two whole number problems using percentages, eg express a number as a percentage of another, calculate a percentage increase or decrease, both with and without a calculator	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
2	convert between and compare given fractions, decimals and percentages on at least two occasions	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
3	solve a minimum of two problems using ratios, eg scaling quantities in practical situations such as cooking or mixing concrete	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
4	solve given problems using direct and inverse proportion	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
5	solve at least two multi-step word based problems, eg calculating take home pay.	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
