In successfully completing this unit, the Learner will have		Evidence needed

1	put into order at least six whole numbers of up to seven digits, including positive and negative numbers	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
2	choose the appropriate operation, ie addition, subtraction, multiplication or division, to solve given whole number problems both with and without a calculator	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
3	solve at least two multi-step calculator problems using the BIDMAS (brackets, indices, division, multiplication, addition, subtraction) method	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
4	solve given problems using equivalent and mixed number fractions	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
5	solve a minimum of two problems involving fractions using each of the four operations both with and without a calculator	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
