| 1 | prep the skin area they will be working on using an oil free cleanser, removing any excess product | Summary sheet |
| 2 | apply spirit gum to the clean area, leaving this to go tacky | Summary sheet |
| 3 | use scar wax to mould the size of the cut they would like to create, roll this into a tube shape and apply it on top of the spirit gum | Summary sheet |
| 4 | use a brush and a petroleum jelly, eg Vaseline, to blend out any edges and make the wax sit flush to the skin | Summary sheet |
| 5 | add colour and paint to create depth and a seamless edge | Summary sheet |
| 6 | complete the look by adding blood makeup to give a gory effect. | Summary sheet and/or photograph(s) |
