3 | prepare a pie tin and roll out the pastry to a suitable thickness | Summary sheet |
4 | line the pie tin with the pastry and mould it to the tin | Summary sheet |
5 | prepare a pie filling for a sweet or savoury pie, following a given recipe | Summary sheet |
6 | fill the pie case, attach the lid and crimp edges to finish the pie | Summary sheet and/or photograph(s) |
7 | use the recipe to set the oven temperature and timer to the correct settings | Summary sheet |
8 | independently place the pie in the oven, remove it when cooked and transfer it onto a cooling rack | Summary sheet |
