In successfully completing this unit, the Learner will have		Evidence needed

1	choose a suitable pattern and fabric for a soft toy	Summary sheet
2	produce a design for a textile picture, including details of their choice of media	Summary sheet
3	prepare the pattern and fabric	Summary sheet
4	cut out the fabric and make up the toy	Summary sheet
5	use the appropriate tools for the task they are doing, eg needles for embroidery	Summary sheet
6	use appropriate materials and techniques, eg applique, beading and embroidery, to realise their design	Summary sheet
7	stuff the toy with an appropriate filling and attach at least two features	Summary sheet
