1 | decide the size of the tray cover and then measure it accurately on the material | Summary sheet |
2 | mark out where to cut the material | Summary sheet |
3 | cut the fabric to size with fabric scissors | Summary sheet |
4 | choose at least two designs from given templates | Summary sheet |
5 | place the designs on felt and secure them | Summary sheet |
6 | cut the chosen designs out of the felt pieces and arrange them on the base cloth | Summary sheet |
7 | safely use a hot glue gun to stick the designs in place, using a single dap of glue in the middle of the shape | Summary sheet |
8 | choose a colour of thread to embroider round the edge of all the shapes using blanket stich | Summary sheet |
9 | choose matching or contrasting colours of thread and add embellishments if desired, eg sequences, glitter glue, mini pompom edging | Summary sheet |
10 | pin and tack a lining to the main material | Summary sheet |
