demonstrated the ability to
1	identify the difference between a road, hybrid, mountain and BMX bike	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
2	check the wheels for broken spokes, trueness of wheels and tyre condition	Summary sheet
3	check the bicycle to see if there is any play in the headset, front & rear hubs and bottom bracket	Summary sheet
4	check the derailleurs and shift levers for lubrication	Summary sheet
5	tighten the shift levers and cables	Summary sheet
6	check the gears for transition into all gears	Summary sheet
7	check the brake shoe for wear and the brake cables for fraying at the brake lever and anchor bolt	Summary sheet
8	secure the stem, handle bars, saddle and seat post.	Summary sheet
