4 | use dressmaking pins to safely pin the pattern to the material | Photograph(s) and/or summary sheet |
5 | use scissors with precision to cut out the material, following the pattern | Summary sheet |
6 | thread a needle with appropriately coloured cotton thread | Summary sheet |
7 | use simple tacking stitches to sew the pieces of fabric together | Student completed work and/or photograph(s) |
8 | use running stitches to hem the pieces as required | Student completed work and/or photograph(s) |
