In successfully completing this unit, the Learner will have		Evidence needed
demonstrated the ability to
1	identify and use the safety equipment required to ride an ATV	Summary sheet
2	mount and dismount the ATV safely	Summary sheet
3	identify and use all the ATV controls correctly	Summary sheet
4	move off correctly with the appropriate observation	Summary sheet
5	stop correctly and safely with and without brakes	Summary sheet
6	turn left and right safely using the correct body position	Summary sheet
7	ride up and down a sloping terrain using the correct body position	Summary sheet
8	reverse the ATV as part of a five point turn	Summary sheet
9	park and leave the ATV in a safe manner	Summary sheet
10	be aware of the movements of other riders when riding the ATV.	Summary sheet
