In successfully completing this unit, the Learner will have		Evidence needed
demonstrated the ability to
1	identify when a peer needs help in the chosen task, on at least four separate sessions	Summary sheet
2	identify at least two ways which could be used to help a peer, eg tone of the voice, body language, sign language	Summary sheet
3	offer the peer individual support in the chosen task	Summary sheet
4	show empathy towards the peer and offer reassurance where appropriate	Summary sheet
5	acknowledge when the peer no longer needs help	Summary sheet
shown knowledge of
6	the role of a mentor	Summary sheet
7	at least two health and safety issues that can affect their working environment, eg PPE, slips, trips and falls	Summary sheet
