In successfully completing this unit, the Learner will have		Evidence needed

1	select all information and suitable resources from a given selection	Summary sheet
2	use appropriate hand tools to ensure that all dimensions meet the requirement of +/- 3mm	Summary sheet
3	produce an accurate drawing of the joint details, with all necessary dimensions shown	Student completed work
4	clearly identify the face side and face edges by marking	Summary sheet
5	use appropriate tools to ensure that the timber is marked +/- 1mm	Summary sheet
6	produce mortice holes that are clean and free from breakout, including any haunches to +/- 2mm	Summary sheet
7	use appropriate tools to rip down tenons and run rebates if required	Summary sheet
8	cross cut the shoulders to within +/- 1mm and haunch any required tenons	Summary sheet
9	select hand tools that are appropriate and fit the job dry to check fit	Summary sheet
10	produce the final assembly of the joint by gluing together using appropriate hand tools.	Summary sheet
