In successfully completing this unit, the Learner will have		Evidence needed
demonstrated the ability to
1	recognise at least three hazards to pedestrians when crossing the road and dealing with traffic that can be used in the road safety animation	Student completed work
2	make at least one prop or backdrop for the animation	Summary sheet
3	identify and understand the six points relating to the correct procedures for crossing the road safely, i.e. find the safest place to cross, stop on the pavement near the kerb, look all around for traffic, wait until it is safe to cross, walk straight across the road when it is safe to cross and keep looking for traffic while crossing the road	Summary sheet
4	discuss at least two ideas with the group for the animation and share at least one idea	Summary sheet
5	work with others to create a storyboard for the animation	Summary sheet
6	take a photograph or move a character for the animation.	Summary sheet
