105352 INTRODUCTION TO TIE-DYEING

In successfully completing this unit, the Learner will have		Evidence needed
demonstrated the ability to
1	select an appropriate item of clothing/fabric to be tie-dyed	Summary sheet
2	decide if using elastic bands only or glass beads	Summary sheet
3	attach elastic bands or glass beads to the selected item	Summary sheet
4	choose the colour of dye to be used and apply to the chosen item	Summary sheet
5	cover the dyed item in cling film and leave overnight to dye	Summary sheet
6	remove the item from the cling film and rinse in cold water	Summary sheet
7	remove elastic bands and/or glass beads once dried.	Summary sheet
