Course summary
This recorded AQA training course will strengthen teacher confidence in supporting students in preparation for the 4-mark Methods in context questions across Papers 1 and 2 in the 2025 exams. We will reflect on specific outcomes from these questions from summer 24 by examining student responses to identify areas for improvement. We will explore teaching and learning activities that can be implemented in the classroom to aid preparation for these questions in Papers 1 and 2 in 2025.

Course description
- Identify areas for improvement in 4-mark extended response Methods in context questions in Papers 1 and 2.
- Develop a greater understanding of how students can move through the levels/gain greater marks in these questions.
- Examine and discuss targeted teaching and learning activities to take back to the classroom to support preparation for 4-mark Methods in context questions across the assessment in 2025.
