A-level Sociology: Preparing for 2025 (Paper 1)

Course summary

This AQA training course will strengthen teacher confidence in supporting students in preparation for Paper 1 in the 2025 exams. We will reflect on specific outcomes from summer 24 by examining student responses to identify areas for improvement. We will explore teaching and learning activities that can be implemented in the classroom to aid preparation for Paper 1 in 2025.

Course description

  • Identify areas for improvement in Paper 1.
  • Develop a greater understanding of how students can move through the levels/gain greater marks.
  • Examine and discuss targeted teaching and learning activities to take back to the classroom to support preparation for Paper 1 in 2025.
